Why i am Accepted Islam (A Inspiring Story)

Assalamualaykum. My name is Anne, I am 24 years old and I accepted Islam at the end of March 2015.
My journey goes back to my upbringing as a Catholic Christian in the UK. My brother and I were given this upbringing since my mother’s side of the family were Catholic and her father was extremely devout.

The laws for murder in Islam:

The sections of this article are:
1-  The laws of murder in Islam.
2-  It is permissible to slay the murderer the same way he slew his victim(s), or to punish the aggressor the same way he violated his victim.
3-  What does "the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman" mean?  And can we apply the Noble  Verse to the enemy?
4-  All people's lives are equal in Islam.
5-  What if the death was accidental?
6-  What is the punishment for the Muslim who kills an innocent disbeliever?
     - But why didn't the law just exist in Islam?
     - What about accidental killing?

1-  The laws of murder in Islam:
Let us look at what Allah Almighty said in the Noble Quran:
"O ye who believe! the law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman.  But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude, this is a concession and a Mercy from your Lord.  After this whoever exceeds the limits shall be in grave penalty.  (The Noble Quran, 2:178)"

Should he respond to non-Muslims when they wish him a Happy New Year?

Should he respond to non-Muslims when they wish him a Happy New Year?

Is it permissible for me to say to non-Muslims “And the same to you” when they wish me a Happy New Year or say Best Wishes?.

Praise be to Allaah.

It is not permissible to greet or congratulate the kuffaar on the occasion of Christmas, New Year or any of their other holidays, and it is not permissible to respond to them when they greet us on those occasions, because they are not festivals that are prescribed in our religion, and returning their greeting is an affirmation and approval of them. The Muslim should be proud of his religion and its rulings, and he should be keen to call others and convey to them the religion of Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted.
